The Pre-School provides 15 hours a week FUNDED CHILDCARE for all children aged 3 and 4 and eligible 2 year olds. From September 2014 more families with 2 year olds will receive 15 hours a week funded childcare. You can check if you are eligible by using the online eligibility checker at www.lancashire.gov.uk or by calling the Family Information Service on 0800 195 0137.

We would like to welcome Joanne Smithers to our preschool team. Joanne is level 3 qualified with over ten years school experience, Joanne is also a qualified nurse.
On the 23rd June 2017, Ofsted visited the pre-school to perform one of their regular inspections; the overall assessment was good, we had an “Outstanding” for Personal development, behaviour and welfare . Charnock Richard Preschool has committed to Lancashire's year of reading in 2018.
During the year of reading, we are committed to:
